DD brings a huge pencil case to school everyday. Pens, pencils, eraser, ruler, colour pencils, mathematical set, calculator, scissors, stapler, etc. Made this to try what it would like to have a pouch that is not interfaced and to try the elastic band. Asked DD for her calculator to try the size and she decided to put her stuff inside. If you notice the small roll-up pouch, it's for the compasses and I-can't-remember-what-you-call-it. The one with the 2 pointy ends to measure length? At least now DD doesn't carry her mathematical box. :-)
