All packed!

Packed the chainmaille keychains more than a month ahead of the actual day. Sometimes I'm early, sometimes I'm late :-(
Hope the recipients will like it!

Have a blessed day!

And more stars

I made another 6-petal Celtic star and decided to try making a 5-petal one with the remaining rings from both the gunmetal one (bottom of the pic) and the non-tarnish one (top right). I found two smaller rings for the middle and counted off how many rings I would need and, thankfully, I had enough.

DS and DD both prefer the gunmetal one. I think I prefer a silver one (from rhodium or aluminium rings) with an accent charm for some colour.

Seeing stars

This is the 3rd attempt at making a Celtic star. It's a variant from the actual 'cos I didn't bother with aspect ratios again so the first two were too floppy. These were made from 2 sizes, one wrapped round a 3.5mm knitting needle and the larger one wrapped around a Papermate pen.

Consistency

Who'd have thought that a pack of  pre-cut jump rings would have so many different gauges even if they have the same inner diameter?
Cross pendant attached to key ring and swivel hook.
Made from inconsistent gauge rhodium 9mm rings in the full Persian weave. This may be small but I took a long time because, firstly, this weave is a very dense weave. Sometimes I had a hard time trying to squeeze a ring in and resorted to using a smaller gauge. Perhaps that's why there are different gauges in a pack, LOL! Secondly, these rings are harder to open/close than what I've used thus far, aluminium or enameled copper.

Have a blessed day!

A Love That Never Fails

The reason for this season is Jesus, whose love for us never fails (1 Cor 13:8) for He is the way, the truth and the life (John 14:6). Who gives me hope (Psalm 31:24) and that I may have faith (Romans 15:13) to believe (Matthew 19:26) and to rejoice (Philippians 4:4)!
Remember the giveaway in the earlier post? The second person on the list will get his or her choice of one of these along with free local shipping.
ps: Draw's at noon!
