Origami wreaths

DD and I made the larger one last night and the smaller one this morning. The shiny gold paper has stars on it. Bought years ago from Watsons. They might still have it. Followed steps found here.

Do you like our house rules?
LOL!

Have a blessed day.

This is taking a long, long time

This is taking such a long time. I can't be buying groceries for the sake of the plastic wrapper, right? Where am I going to get enough plastic to finish this project. As it is, I already started collecting few months back and I only have this. Thing is, each piece is folded and the final area that shows up is 1/32 of the original area. Imagine, if I want an area 10cm x 10cm, I'll need 32 x 10cm x 10cm.

Oh well, I think the end result will be very rewarding.

Thank you....for having a heart!

We've been rather busy these September school holidays. It's been only a week but it seems much longer with the myriad of activities that saw us clocking in more than 150 mins of 'workout' a day. It's been tiring fun!
For all those whose orders are pending, my apologies! I'll get started on them from tomorrow evening and thank you so much for your patience :-)
Do you know what these are?
Singtel will donate $1 for every heart they get from the postal service. If you have the Today paper, check page 11 of 5Sep issue and page 9 of 6Sep issue. Cut the rectangle out and fold a heart according to the instructions and drop it off at the nearest postbox by 21Sep.
We had a fruitful time collecting these from our neighbours. Not only did a neighbour give us pulot hitam (sorry, no pic, I ate it before I realised). Others were amused by DD and her friend's script when asking for the papers. We had dogs and cats who came to the door before the owners too. I got the high score of 4 from 1 household though I don't know how she managed to get 3 copies of 5Sep and 1 of 6Sep.
Tiring but I think we'll do it again next year.
Personal request to Singtel: last year the heart was available 5 days in the week but this time there were only 2. Perhaps you could consider printing on 5 again?
Have a blessed day!
