Simple florals

This is my last piece of PU leather and snap. I've bought more but it takes so long to arrive that I'm wondering if I'll try to make my own. But that means I'll have to do the snaps myself and the tool for my snaps have yet to arrive, LOL!
Cellphone sleeve made from the Cath Kidston lookalike material. It's a bit like oilcloth, or maybe it really is. Just reminds me of that 'cos of the prints and texture. Lined this with super soft dimpled microfibre. I was thinking of saying that it's large enough to fit DD's Samsung Galaxy Ace but it seems lots of phones are getting larger. To think that someone once laughed at my Nokia e61i.

Lay the table

Nope, this is not table cloth nor a changing mat and the right side up is actually the microfibre. The bright and pretty waterproof side is face down on the table. Why?
Sometimes I bring stuff out to craft, especially to the pool during DD's lesson. While the table is generally clean, I don't want to risk anything that might jeopardise this. Small items like beads won't roll off the table either. Two birds, one stone.

After about a week

DS' patchwork blanket finally has a backing. I like the contrast of the ivory microfibre back with the brightness of the colours in front.

How big is your phone?

In this day and age, the phones are getting larger. What a far cry from the time when I was using my trusty Nokia e61i which was ahead of its time. It was larger than most candy bars or clamshells. Thick too, that some would laugh when I put it to my ear and use it like a super wide candy bar. Well, the phones these days are much larger :-)

Made from a suede-like material and lined with microfibre. Velcro closure 'cos no magnets. Belt loop at the back.

Have a blessed day!

Cushioned comfort

DD asked me if Kingston is a good brand. I have no idea. I've kind of lost touch with staying in the know for  technology. My knowledge of Kingston is that it has RAM as well and that it's been around for a while. As long as it works as it should, no?
Anyway, made this portable HDD pouch on a whim. I basically took the HDD and some scrap fabric and winged it from there. Estimation was done by placing the HDD on the fabric and cutting a rough margin. Ditto that for the flap (which I didn't know if it would reach the pocket) and ditto that for the pocket which was made from the remainder of the scrap fabric. I had lots of microfibre too but in ivory. I like how the colours come together, by the way :-) I riveted the wrist strap for a more 'finished' look.
Have a blessed day!
