Four peas in a pod, well, almost

Still in the reversible tote kind of mood and venturing into pricier cotton linen blends from Japan and Korea. I'm becoming a big fan of Nesshome. Wonder if they have stuff on sale this Black Friday or Cyber Monday?

I'm wondering too, whether to keep the second from the left for myself. This is a very interesting piece of fabric, almost like a painting. I only have a half yard of this and am not able to get anymore. There'll be two reversible totes and both have different prints. How cool is that!

Have a blessed day!

ps: I'll be going to VivoCity for the fireworks tonight. I hope it won't rain.

Journal de Paris

This has a very zakka feel to it. I like its simple and retro look, made out of Japanese cotton/linen. Lots of pockets inside (4 plus 2 pen slips). I wasn't sure what to make of this when I bought it 'cos the Journal de Paris print is rather wide, too wide/narrow for a clutch. I decided to add a bit more colour and expand the width so that this is a wraparound print. 'Twas a bit troublesome to switch between oatmeal and red thread to top-stitch but I'm glad I went through that effort :-)

Have a blessed day!

Found it!!!

I've been searching for this for the longest time. I searched the fabric stacks I had on the floor, and amongst those that are hung up. I even searched the scrap box. After several rounds of such, I simple couldn't believe that several yards of fabric could just *poof* into thin air. Some fabric, I understand 'cos I used till there're tiny scraps left but this, I strongly remembered having about 3 yards left.

And so I found it. Won't tell you where 'cos it was hidden in another stack of fabric that I forgot was there, LOL! I have more 'new' fabric to play with now.

Sorry for the delay on purple-themed orders, I'll get to it very soon. Cheerios!
