In a heartbeat

I didn't manage to get National Day Parade tickets this year but it's ok, we'll be catching it at home. I started on this order rather late in the afternoon and was wondering if I can finish it before the parade starts at 6.10pm and I made it.

Brasss engraved square kisslock frame with Korean import fabrics outside and in. Fully lined and interfaced.

Sharing: templates

I thought I'd share with you pics of the templates I use. I can't find the triangle pencil case one :-(

I didn't take individual pics of the bear. Copied this from a library book but there are also many on the web. This bear template is meant for jointed ones...buttons at the limbs to join to the body. I also added the kisslock one that I use. This is specific to the size of the kisslock and for flat pouches. Add a petal shape template if you want a base. Largest one is for the reversible tote.
That said, I don't use templates that often. I prefer the spur of the moment inspiration or playing jigsaw puzzle to maximize a remaining piece of fabric.

Doggy love

I like dogs. Used to have them - strays, pug, lhasa apsos, alsatian. No dogs now but I still like them. I like their happy tails (or rolled up ones like pugs'), I like their ability to sense your mood and comfort you, I like their hyperactivity and their sleepiness, I like them snuggling up to you, short-haired or long.

Three tissue cases and three kisslock coin purses. I flipped one of the tissue case inside out and DD says it looks ok too, what do you think? Making these made me think of chocolate milk. BTW, Shop and Save has a discount on Meiji's cocoa milk this month :-)

What's happening?

It's been quite eventful for us the past few weeks, with a few upheavals on the personal front along with health issues. DS, DD and myself had bouts of fever and pains. Those are my excuses for not churning out your orders timely. Thank you for your patience and support!
